Twelve Sustainable Gifts

Disclosure: Collaborative Post

Keep Britain Tidy have an awesome campaign running this September called #SwapforGood encouraging people to reduce single-use plastics by making waste saving swaps.

Earlier in the year I ditched using facial wipes completely, and I’m no longer using makeup remover pads (I have washable ones now). This has been an easy swap to build into my daily routine and I wish I started this new habit earlier. I already have tote bag(s), a reusable mug and water bottle but I’m not perfect, kids. I sometimes forget one or the other (or all), but the important thing is, however-small, to make a start.

Christmas is the perfect time to introduce eco friendly products to people that wouldn’t normally buy them. Some of my family don’t have the environment on their radar, for one reason or another, but that doesn’t stop you buying them something special and sustainable as a gift. So I’ve collated a list of 12 products, from edible goodies and reusable stationery to hot water bottles and accessories.

P.S I’m not going to apologise for mentioning Christmas, no sirree! If you celebrate the season then surely it’s a good thing buying something early and avoiding debt and stress later in the year?
