  5.  Give all the door handles/knobs and light switches in your home a quick clean
  6. People-watch with a cup of coffee as your companion
  7. Repair one thing in your home this week, big or small
  8. Buy a coffee and pastry for a friend/colleague
  9. Make an extra effort to smile and greet strangers
  10. Play thumb war

  12. Declutter old toys (kids and pets)
  13. Test your fire and carbon monoxide alarms
  14. Take any winter coats you’re going to wear to the dry cleaners

  24. Rearrange your furniture for a quick room makeover

    Such an inspiring list! Yesterday I spent a good hour and half repairing Bea’s scraggy old teddy which she’s loved to death. I’d forgotten how therapeutic a bit of slow hand-sewing can be, while listening to radio 4! xx
