The Treat Yo’ Self Ten #2

Hello chums. I hope this blog post finds you well? I’ll write a proper catch up post soon, but today I’m sharing with you some Treat Yo’ Self goodies that I’ve spotted on my internet travels over the last month. One of which I bought (a bargain, I tell ya), and is now living in our lounge. Enjoy!

There’s no denying that autumn will be with us soon, and with it being my favourite season, I’m very OK with this. I’ve been getting all the nesting ‘feels’ which naturally takes me online, perusing Pinterest and homeware shops for inspiration.

Oliver Bonas do great sales, so they are always worth a look if you’re looking for modern home accessories. I spotted this gorgeous Herringbone Throw, reduced to only £15.

There is also a new online shop in town called Pics & Ink, selling independent magazines. They sell a giddy-inducing amount of indie mags and P&P is only £2, no matter how many magazines you buy. Exciting magazine-smelling times ahead!*

*We all smell magazine paper, right?

Looking for a stylish reusable cup for your takeout cappuccino?  The rCUP is leakproof, dishwasher safe and made from used paper cups. Pretty nifty, right?

Old blog readers will remember I used to have a blog series called Tote of the Week, so in its memory I feel it’s only right I feature one of my current faves, the Ban.do Everything is Gonna Be OK tote bag.

Great dress length, sleeves, print and neckline too. Yup, I’m a tad besotted with this polka dot flared dress from Mango, but it’s a tad over my budget. Isn’t she lovely, nonetheless? If you’re looking for a timeless dress, that works for all seasons I reckon this one is a keeper.

We bought some new houseplants from the garden centre the other week but it’s reassuring to know you can also buy them online via Hortology. As a non-driver and plant lover, this is the best news ever.

The bargain I mentioned at the beginning of the post? This Floor Reading Lamp from Aldi. It’s £19.99 (I know!). We wanted an extra lamp for the living space so both of us can read without having the ‘big’ lights on. This was a perfect choice for our space, and is a great quality lamp with nice features too (hello brass fittings). P.S the bulb is included and the postage (I think) was only £2.99.

Another lamp I spotted, is the Terrazzo Lamp from John Lewis. The bulb isn’t included with this one, but I still think it’s great value for such a beautiful table lamp.

I spotted someone wearing this Peace Please Tee from Monki last week and thought it was worth a mention if you’re stocking up on slogan t-shirts.

Another brand I wanted to shout about that I’ve featured on the blog before (see outfit post here), is Oak & Hyde. The Maria sandals in that blog post are the most comfy sandals I’ve ever owned so I’ve bookmarked these Malaga Sandals for our holiday to Australia next year.

Seen anything you fancy?

Oh I remember Tote of the Week fondly. I recently bought one from Primark. It was black and white striped with a gold letter K on it because I can’t resist anything initialised clearly. I also subscribe to Mslexia mag – good read!
