Hebden Bridge: Handmade Parade 2015
Hello! How are we all? Did you have a fine weekend? Do tell. Mine was spent celebrating birthdays (my niece, nephew and sister), watching movies (I’ve watched a lot lately – perhaps time to bring back A Week In Film?), going on canal walks and spending Sunday watching the Hebden Bridge Handmade Parade with family. Other highlights included discovering the tastiest chicken salad recipe, eating a box of whisky truffles pretty much all to myself (courtesy of a friend) and catching up on Game of Thrones. Oh my. Don’t worry, no spoilers here.
Back to Sunday! Thousands of people descended the streets and the park in Hebden Bridge on Sunday for the annual Handmade Parade. This year’s theme was ‘come fly with us’ which meant the streets were graced by shiny and colourful space ships, birds and planes; the giant puppets and costumes as always, were an absolute treat. Plus the sun came out. Always a Brucie Bonus my friends, always.
How was your weekend?

That looks amazing! Are there anymore parades, festivals or events in Hebden over the summer?
