Tote of the Week: Large Slouch bags by Tove Johansson

Another week has passed and we have one more May Bank Holiday to celebrate – hurrah! I’d love for it to be full of sunshine but to be honest if it’s grey and miserable it gives me an excuse to read and write and quietly potter with jobs around the house. Grand.

My week was a good one. Busy, but good. I received a lovely phone call from a client who was overjoyed with the copywriting work I had done for them. I know writing this is blowing my own trumpet, but folks who know me know I’m absolutely rubbish at saying good things about myself, so count this as practice. I’m learning that’s it’s OK to be proud of your work and your achievements and that confidence and arrogance are very different things. Let’s just say that appreciative phone call made my week.

Anyhoo, back to more important issues; it’s tote of the week time! Swedish Designer Tove Johansson has an ambition to bring a little eye candy into everyday life; she has achieved that for sure with these beauties. The one on the left is more my cup of tea as I adore bright prints, but how can I ignore the pastel slouch bag? Peachy stuff, my friends.
