Lately: Christmas, New Year and 52 lists
Hello there, how has your week been? A little bit tiring, a little bit meh? Or super fabulously awesome? Either way, it’s the weekend so hurrah for that and all its finery!
I thought I’d dip my feet back into blogging waters and start today with a few pictures from the last few weeks. They are all jumbled up, a bit like my brain, but you get the picture (ahem).
Writing notes to my family // Selfie fun on Bamburgh beach // Fireworks on NYE at Seahouses harbour // Bamburgh castle (more on this soon) // Cream tea loveliness // Barter Books, Alnwick // Jenga! // Watching It’s a Wonderful Life at the cinema // Beautiful, inspiring and perfect Frankie magazine.
Crackling fire and last fizz of 2013!
Goofy-grinned Lisa and a gorgeous gift from the OH; a Skye Weavers scarf.
Fireworks on NYE
Barter Books, Alnwick (the best secondhand book shop).
Thoughtful gifts // Pick-a-Mix gold // Sherlock brilliance (loved the wedding speech episode!) // Home envy // Perfect street lights // Tree reflections // Boe jewellery (gift from OH)// THE HOBBIT!!! // Walks with family
As for this year, rather than focusing on one or two big goals/ambitions for the year, I’m concentrating more on the everyday; the small things that make each day a pleasure. I’ve not forgotten about my career/ house goals but I want 2014 to be the year of the present.
To help me with that I’m taking part in the 52 Lists Project I spotted via Elettravelle. I LOVE LISTS, so this weekly themed project will keep me in check for the year. The first theme is to list my 2014 goals and the second listing my favourite moments of 2013; I only discovered this yesterday so I’ll catch up with 2 posts throughout the week and get my thinking bonnet on!
Whatcha all upto this weekend?
