  • Do a Facebook edit. Do you find yourself moaning about ‘friends’ on your timeline who aren’t really friends? Hide them from your timeline or remove them completely. Bye bye grumpy ‘friend’ who I knew a little when I was 10.
  • Don’t always put on a brave face. I’m convinced we’d all be a more merry bunch if we realised that nobody’s life is perfect. We all suffer from similar problems and can identify/learn from each other – we’re all in it together.
  • Ditch the microwave. It’s a fact that jacket potatoes taste better baked in the oven. As does milk heated up slowly on the hob to make a warming night drink or a perfect bowl of porridge for your morning breakfast. For the folk with little ‘uns, I understand if you disagree!
  • Use the stairs and avoid escalators and lifts. Every step counts.
  • Reward yourself for being totally awesome and have an afternoon nap (try avoid doing this at work).
