5 Positive Things To Do This Week #4
- Plan a holiday. Holiday season is over for most people so what better time to plan the next one? A week away to look forward to works wonders for the diary amidst all those meetings and boring entries. If you can’t manage to book anything just yet, do a little research to make a start. So many places to visit!
- Tidy up at night. I’ve started getting into a regular routine of putting things away before we go to sleep. I’ve no idea where everything comes from but I’d rather wake up the next day to a tidy house then a messy one. Mornings are difficult enough (insert caffeine here).
- Eat your lunch or have a cuppa outside. I LOVE doing this. Whether you’re at home or at work it’s the perfect way to get some fresh air and just do one thing. Eat. If I have little time, I’ll open the front door and just stand in the doorway with a cuppa.
- One in, one out. The task is simple. Bought or received something new? Sell or give something you no longer need/want.
- Be polite to the ones you love. Everyone always says to be polite to strangers, indeed I agree. However, we tend to take the people closest to us for granted. Being kind and polite should start at home.

I love planning the next holiday! I have a constant list in my mind of places to visit- and I love booking flights/ train etc to make it happen!

So do I! I’m the planning queen and love to get wrapped up in it.

I am a big fan of tidings before bed. Even when Dave is here, I’m generally first up in the morning, and I find Sitting with tea in a tidy room while the world wakes up very satisfying. If there’s clutter I always want to tidy.

Indeed! I just need to incorporate my night tidying it into my everyday tidy up 🙂
