5 Positive Things To Do This Week #3
- New month – new start. Had a stressful September? Treat today as a new beginning like you would a new year. What’s past is past and all that jazz.
- Turn off the telly. I’m not a TV snob, far from it. But turning the TV off DOES promote productivity and make you do something different. I’ve become far more selective with the programmes I watch, making sure I don’t sit on my bum watching rubbish till something good comes on.
- In the evenings spend some time turning off all the house lights and light lots of candles (be safe!). I like to do this each night, it’s my way of relaxing into the evening and mulling over the day that has just gone. Plus, soft lighting improves your mood – ’tis a true fact that, you know.
- Make your own 5 Positive Things list. I’m aware that some of these ideas might not be for you. You might love bright lights and the TV and hate writing letters and cutting your sandwiches into quarters. In which case, write a list that suits you and let me know what your positive things are!
- Took a great photograph recently? Make the effort to print it and frame it. It’s easy as pie to take your memory card to Boots and print one off. Get yourself to a charity shop to find a frame and disco! I AM going to do this. I AM.

I like the idea of making our own lists. I might try next Monday if I can remember so I start the week on a positive with lovely things to look forward to!

Since starting this as a weekly feature it’s become a really nice way to break down my days. Thinking of positive things I do or need to do helps me think
less of the negative. Happy list making!

That photo is simply beautiful – you really should print it off and frame it you know 😉
