From left to right:

1| I love the soft pinks and purples in this Double Diamond Hand-Knitted Rug (from £128) from Anthropologie. The runner version of this would look beautiful in a busy area of your home, as well as acting as protection for your hardwood floors.

2| Grey is my colour of choice right now so this easy to wear Layered Jersey Dress (£49) from House of Fraser gets the thumbs up from me. It would look grand paired with a short leather jacket and trainers for a laid-back weekend outfit, or dressed smart for work or evening with a pair of heels.

3| I’ve heard tracks from Christine and the Queens new album on BBC Radio 6 Music but it wasn’t until I watched her set at Glastonbury that I truly understood her talent/awesomeness. I could watch her dance for hours! If you haven’t listened to this french singer/songwriter, go now!

4| I love a good slogan t-shirt or sweater so I was super pleased to discover the new UK clothing brand, Letter Clothing Company. I’m a fan of all their designs but the Oi Oi Sailor Sweatshirt (£29) holds a special place in my heart. *Adds to wish list*

5| The weather has been a bit ‘off’ lately. A tad drab, shall we say. So on grey days, when I’ve been curled up indoors, I’ve been contemplating autumn and the nesting season to follow. Don’t worry, I’ve not given up on summer just yet, I have a festival to go to after all. But, I am looking at DIY jobs and things we’d like to improve around the house ready for the cooler months. We’ve got storage to sort, a log store to build and I have my eyes on this Scandinavian inspired Set of Two Side Tables from Zurleys for our lounge. And only £56.99 for the set. Worthy of another thumbs up? I think so.

6| I am a mug enabler – I can’t buy anymore porcelain vessels of goodness but I will happily help others. Mix up your morning routine with this Murmur Dune Mug (£10) from Houseology; it’s pretty peachy.

7| I never used to wear sandals until last year when Birkenstocks and Saltwater’s came into my life. Now I appreciate flat sandals and all their finery. I’m currently coveting these Cross Strap Sandals (£35) from FatFace – navy for the win!

8| I might have purchased a couple of new vases whilst buying a diary from HEMA last week. Ahem. In my defense, they were only £3, including this polka dot number. Perfect for summer buds picked from the garden or outdoors. Cute gift too?

9| Another great new-to-me brand is TWOTHIRDS, home to sustainable clothing and accessories including this chic vegan Tenerife Backpack (€68). This one is made from cork trimmings and is waterproof too.
