52 Lists: List The Things You Want To Make

uk lifestyle blog

  • Sloe gin. After drinking the best sloe gin at Christmas, I’m going on a sloe berry foraging mission in Autumn.
  • Make my own clothes. I’m not wanting to make all of them, but I’d love to learn the basics. The Great British Sewing Bee has me inspired!
  • Make our home free of clutter. I’m sick of all the stuff. No matter how many hours I spend tidying, there is still mountains of stuff that moves from one place to another. I just need a few days to tackle it without distractions.
  • Make the best coffee. We have an amazing coffee machine gifted by my ace mother-in-law (I call her that even though I’m not married). I need to practice making different types of coffee instead of my usual cappuccino. Ooh coffee syrups!

What do you want to make?

I like this list. I want to make *over* my dining room table, make (write) a poem I actually like and maybe even make (write) a novel, even if it never gets published. Exciting times.

I just finished a craft project that’s been on my to-do list for years. I made a spring wreath for my front door…we don’t live in the sort of area that does such things, but I love the pop of colour. Maybe my neighbours will join in?

I really want to free our house of clutter, too. It’s everywhere and it is beginning to annoy me. Actually, it’s been annoying me for a long time but I am just too lazy to do much about it! I’d also like to make a sunburst mirror, but we’re running out of wallspace for crafty creations to live on. (boo.)

Ooh the wreath and mirror sound great! Wouldn’t it be nice to have 2 weeks off to do all the things we want, with no distractions!
