2013 Christmas Baubles
Oh me, oh my. I do like a nice bauble shopping spree to get me into the festive spirit, and these are most definitely in my Christmas good books.
Christmas decorations in our house are a mixture of recycled (from family), bought and handmade. One day we’re going to need a very big tree to accommodate all of the awesome baubles I’ve collected over the years – an eclectic tree it will be!

4. Miss Cake//5. Liberty //6. Rigby & Mac
When it comes to choosing a new bauble for our tree, it basically needs to be one that strikes a chord and means something.
I love the little New York taxi cab bauble from Anthropologie. New York means so much to us and I’d move there in a second if it were’nt for all our family and buddies here. It’s the place where I feel most alive and like myself and also where my sister got married – best wedding ever! We’re planning a Summer trip next year so this bauble would be a worthy addition to our tree and our home.
Pennies permitting, we’re thinking of putting our Christmas tree up from the 7th onwards. When is your tree going up this year?

I know what you mean by baubles meaning something too you! A few years ago I made a trip back to my most loved city, Paris. On my way back heading to the plane I bought some baubles for my tree and I just love them with their little Eiffel Towers. Xx

Every year I buy a new bauble. The most I’ll ever spend is £5 but I’ve collected some really special ones over the year. We’ve all got our favourites. Mine is the wooden nutcracker and and tin fairy. I love your choices. P.S I once cried when one of our decorations smashed. I’d had it over 10 years : (

I want that record player one so much! No new baubles this year as we maybe wont have a tree, but we did get one wonderful one from the lovely Ems who gives us a new homemade tree decoration each year (it is one of my favourite traditions)
