6 Bobble Hats

There are many reasons why we should all acknowledge the awesomeness of a bobble hat. One being the word bobble. That’s one word I approve of being in the Oxford dictionary. Bobble, bobble, bobble.

SIX BOBBLE HATS

Then comes the pom-pom. I wonder who decided it would be a good idea to pop a pom-pom (try saying that after a few glasses of port) on top of a knitted hat? Genius, I tell you. They deserve the finest wines known to humanity and a big hug from me.

Finally, the bobble hat evokes pure and simple joy. Maybe because they remind me of my childhood, and happy winter outings; sledging, caroling and playing out with friends. Nowadays they simple keep me warm and cosy and look pretty darn cute too. Plus I like shaking my head once in a while and feel the pom-pom do its little dance.

Hurrah for bobble hat season! Bobble, bobble, bobble…

If you cross the style of the Animal hat with the colour of the Franch Connection hat you get my favourite beanie hat of all time. I wore it every winter for 6 years and even wrote a philosophy essay about “my pink hat” – the joys of philosophy. There will never be a hat to match it. Some people refused to be seen with me when I was wearing it.

    I <3 a good bobble hat! x

There really is something good about a nice comfy bobble hat. Not so long back I would never have dared wear a bobble hat, but now I wouldn’t go out on cold weather without a big pompom bouncing when I walk. They are awesome, no doubt! Hat’s off (and back on) to the inventer of the bobble hat! Winter should be renamed Bobble Hat Season.
