Outfit Post: Featuring Naturalizer Ankle Boots

uk lifestyle blog

The outfit you see today is all about comfort and teaming old charity shop bargains with a pair of stylish yet practical ankle boots from Naturalizer, a brand I’ve only just discovered.

Ankle boots are my Autumn/Winter staple for when I need something stylish to just pop on and dress with tights, a chunky scarf and an array of tea dresses. Not forgetting the delights of a jumper or cardigan of course, which are ideal if you don’t fancy wearing your Winter coat just yet. I’m putting that day off as long as possible folks…

Naturalizer shoes are as much about comfort as they are about style, of which I can confirm (I haven’t had them off my feet). They are bigger heels than I usually go for (5cm) but they feel very comfortable to walk in with extra cushioning and an ergonomic heel and toe shape that assists with stability. As I don’t drive, walking is part of my everyday routine, so wearing a boot that delivers in comfort as well as style is a good find indeed. Plus, they are darn pretty too.

As for the style, I’m chuffed to bits that the boots actually fit my ankle. I know that sounds silly, but I struggle with ankle boots fitting my little ankles (wish I had the same problem with my tummy area – ho-hum). I love the buckle feature and inner zip which I think adds a little ‘edge’ to feminine dresses and soft textures, which I wear a lot of.

Are you donning your ankle boots this season?

P.S Tote of the week coming later this afternoon!
