Lately: The Simple Things
Photographing simple details of my everyday life is one of my favourite things to do. It gives me the opportunity to see beauty in everything around me from a street sign to a couple of white chocolate jazzies…
A bunch of simple things making me feel content lately: treating myself to a bag of white jazzies, beautiful flowers prettifying Hebden Bridge’s pavements, the simplicity of one single stamp, the delight of a road named Victoria, heavy rain keeping me indoors, breakfast in bed courtesy of Pearl’s Cakes – muffins, cookies & flapjacks delivered to your door? Yes please! Photographing any remaining flowers I see whilst out and about, and reading in bed whilst having a week off work.
What have you been enjoying lately?

Disclosure: This post is in association with Pearl’s Cakes.

What lovely moments 🙂 I have the same bedding, does that sound creepy? And what a good stamp that is! X

These are gorgeous. Dave often jokes that my camera is filled with picturesof tea ans food and leaves and weather, but the truth is I take photos to remember and appreciate things.
Simple things I’ve been enjoying – the glow of a candle through a thin china teacup, strong Yorkshire tea, my hot water bottle, the pumpkin sat on my sideboard, wearing a scarf every day!

I agree. If it wasn’t for the small things, where would we be?

What a gorgeous wee post! I’m with you on photographing the simple things… somehow makes you feel a bit more grounded right?

I’d love to hear what you think of the book. My Sister gave me a copy, but I haven’t got around to reading it yet.

I will Claire! Half way in and hoping to finish it this week 🙂
