Gift Guide: Gifts For Dudes

Towards the second half of the year all the men in my life decided to be born. They are very helpful like that. Amongst them is my OH’s birthday in November which is never a problem as he would be just as happy with a new pack of batteries for his Xbox controller than anything else. But because gifting is fun, I thought I’d pull together a gift guide for dudes – in particular for my OH, incase I get stuck in a couple of months time.

You can always team up gifts with an outing which I think makes a great gift; for example, I bought my OH a record player a couple of years ago, accompanied with a trip to a local record fair – he loved it! MySmartBuy has a great selection of record players, including the one above which is very similar to ours (the benefits of being in a couple – you can share pressies!) –  you can also transfer vinyl to your SD card if you like your gadgets too.

Other favourites include, the Blossom and Bill Tray to make him breakfast in bed and a subscription to a great magazine. We picked up Smith Journal in Australia earlier in the year which is full of interesting articles worth whiling away an afternoon -any gifts that encourage the person to relax are ideal in my eyes!

One gift I must remember for an ACE stocking filler is the Firestick from Hunter Gatherer – perfect for men (and boys) who enjoy making fires and much more fun than using matches (I secretly want this). Next up, I spotted the Breaking Bad print over at WishWishWish a while ago, designed by Carrie’s partner Miguel Santana – ideal to sit above your sofa (where all our Breaking Bad viewing happens).

Finally, like me, my fella loves a nice pair of good quality socks (preferably striped – we are two peas in a pod) so I promise I’m not being boring by adding these to the gift guide. Same goes for shaving cream – a little luxury makes a great gift and Cowshed products are dreamy!
