5 Positive Things To Do This Week #40

uk lifestyle blog

  • Spend some time working on your posture and consciously thinking about the way you sit and stand. This is a must for me before I turn into a creaky old lady.
  • If you spent your weekend watching the Glastonbury Festival footage wishing you were there (hands up), start saving your pennies now for 2014 – tickets released in October this year!
  • Pick up a gift for your little un’s favourite teacher before the Summer holidays. More on this later in the week.
  • Assess your year so far, is there something making you unhappy? This week, work on trying to change that.
  • Switch off tonight and spend the evening discussing your inspirations (avoid work chat).

Brew up and see my previous 5 Positive Things posts here.

Happy Monday!

We switched off for all of last weekend. It was heaven. I’m also working on my posture at the moment. Trying to sit how the Alexnader Techniue taught me and trying to avoid rolling my ankle due to my knee injury (which has healed, I just keep walking like it hasn’t).

I like the idea of assessing the year. I might make some time over a cuppa to do that this afternoon. 🙂

You’ve just reminded me about the Alexander Technique! I remember doing that at school and uni for drama…*hunts for books*

I started Yoga last week as I was fed of feeling like an old woman when I got up in the morning. I really enjoyed it and it definitely made me think about my posture more. I realised that I tend to stand with my weight on the balls of my feet more which makes me slouch. It was also nice to be away from any kind of technology for an hour and half! x
