Best British Designer-Makers: Lovely Pigeon

It seems only natural, being an avid admirer of contemporary craft and working at the beautiful Heart Gallery, that I begin a new series on the blog celebrating the best designer-makers in the UK. From jewellery, ceramics and textiles to beauty, stationery and art – there is so much to discover on this little island of ours. If I can help a little by promoting these artists/makers of awesomeness, then that makes me happy. Plus I get to discover pretty things – I like pretty things.

Without further ado (rolls sleeves up) let us meet the first Best British Designer-Maker in the series – Lovely Pigeon aka Kirsty Thomas.
Kirsty creates hand-crafted jewellery, paper products and printed homewares at her Cellardyke studio, Lovely Pigeon. Illustrated, printed, heat shrunk and lacquered, her smile-inducing jewellery would make an ideal gift for geometric dreamers (raises hand).
