At Home: Make Room For Your Life

Each year, roughly three months in, I go through the same routine. I take a look around and spy an array of mess; a cluttered dressing table, a messy sewing box, bills in the DIY drawer instead of in files, shoes by the door instead of in their storage baskets, bags hung at the end of the bed, and endless drawers, once tidy, now full of ‘stuff’. ‘Stuff’ does not make me happy and ‘stuff’ is getting in my way.

So it was well-timed when Ikea contacted me to see what I thought of their Make Room For Your Life campaign and their latest video (amongst others on YouTube) helping blogger and entrepreneur, Jess, declutter and organise her room. That girl has a lot of trainers folks. A lot. Personally, thinking of my bedroom, I love the Lidan baskets mentioned in the video and the Hajdebv vacuum-sealed bags to store clothes in. It also reminded me of all the bloggers I know with online shops – where do you keep all your goodies?!

Luckily I don’t have a collection of trainers to store away, but I do want my bedroom to look something like this…
