The Humble Wellington Boot
Greetings readers! Here’s a little post about the humble Wellington boot, official sponsor of Autumn/Winter and kicking leaves.
I’ve teamed up with Joules to delve into the world of womens wellies – I can’t think of a nicer thing to do on a wet and windy morning. I best brew up!
I began my welly love affair as a 16-year-old festival-goer, prancing (and dancing) in fields accompanied by my green rubber-boots-of-joy, without a care in the world. That’s the magic of wellies…and being 16. Many moons later, I moved to Hebden Bridge, a town where wearing wellies (and prancing and dancing) is a practicality. The best town EVER. Joules wellies are slightly special though, not only practical, but pretty to boot (pun klaxon).
Here’s a fine selection of womens wellies to put my first rubber-boots-of-joy (RIP) to shame. Cue loveliness:
Womens Premium Glossy Wellies £64.95 // Womens Printed Wellibobs £34.95
Womens Evedon Tie Detail Premium Wellies £74.95 // Womens Printed Navy Floral Welly £36.95
Move aside little ‘uns, the puddles are mine.

Love Joules wellies! Unfortunately being a student can’t currently afford them but I can dream!

They’re definitely worth adding to the Xmas wish list if you do wear them- compared to Hunter and the other ‘posh’ brands they’re quite affordable. Wellies are ace!

I prefer a basic glossy welly and as I live in London feel I would look like a prat in them. But if I move somewhere soggier I will remember that Joules do very pretty wellies.

The plain ones are really chic I think. The red ones are my favourite!

I love wellies! I spend approximately half my life in them (and I don’t even live in the country).

Wellies are my favourite Winter accessory. Joules have such fun varieties!
