Hebden Bridge

The wanderer returns…

I cannot think for the life of me why I haven’t been to Amsterdam before. I love European breaks and for some reason, I’d always kept Amsterdam on the back burner. Silly Lisa.

Amsterdam was enchanting, unique, full of character and brimming with history & charm. Every street we walked through, every corner we peeked around, we came across a gem of some kind. The people were truly lovely and made the holiday really easy-going and relaxing. After the previous week I had, ladies and gentlemen, it was just the gin & tonic. I recommend this city break wholeheartedly.

So, here’s a few snaps of our first day. Spent mainly ‘oohing’ and ‘ahhing’ at the things we saw, walking and snapping pictures was the order of the day. Drinking beer, eating pizza, and generally feeling happy and alive knowing we had 2 and a bit more days to come, and my Birthday!

Here’s to Amsterdam – part one!

By the time I had got to the end of all the photographs I had turned to the boyf and asked if we should go to Amsterdam. Your photos capture the enchantedness of the city. I can’t wait to go back and visit one day.
