Apple Crumble


  • Preheat oven 180c
  • Mix butter and flour in mixing bowl using hands (my favourite bit!). Prepare for stickiness then pure crumble delight! Then add a cupful of crushed cornflakes.
  • Add 2/3 of the sugar to the crumble mixture and mix well (you can use a fork now if you like!)
  • Chop up your apples (peel,core, quarter, slice – not too thinly).
  • Layer the apples in your oven dish whilst sprinkling the rest of the sugar over them.
  • Evenly spread the crumble mixture on top and pop in oven until golden brown (roughly 40 mins)
  • Let cool for 10 mins then pair with custard or ice cream.
  • Devour!
