I went rummaging around the local charity and antique shops at the weekend and walked away with a bag full of joy. In total I spent £20 and bought  a Polaroid camera, a vintage Boots tin full of match books from America, a 1970 children’s book with pretty illustrations, a
milk jug, some flowery vintage fabric, felt and some lace! Oh and a pretty chrysanthemum! Not bad eh?

I then happened to find myself on eBay and bought a typewriter for 99p! Can’t wait to get her and tap away like a silly Billy. She is a Olympia model and is called Monica. Who gets to name these typewriters? I like to think whoever came up with the design had a lady friend called Monica, whom they liked very much!

That’s it, no more purchases this month. I now have the task  of making some handmade cards for the shop I work in, and using some of my new fabric and lace, I’ll let you know how I get on.

Today, I also tweeted for the very first time (@m_heart_m). I must say, I love the bird logo, so cute, but how do you add the Twitter
button on your blog? Am I missing the obvious? Hmm. Anyhoo, I’m enjoying twitterland, it’s a nice place to be.
