Lately: Whitby, Sunshine and Freckles

Ah, I’ve been waiting and waiting for the chance to write a lately post filled with sunshine, camping and the Great British seaside – and here it is! Oh Whitby, how I love thee. We went for an impromptu Bank Holiday trip to the North Eastern town, and thankfully the nice weather came with us too. My favourite part of the trip was going to Sandsend, only a few minutes drive from Whitby and the perfect place for a spot of sunbathing. We loved it. Whitby was of course as lovely as ever but the crowds were a little silly (what you expect for a national holiday). I can’t wait till we have a motor and get to see more of the places in the UK off the beaten track – coastal drives make me happy.  What did you get up to?
