Charity Shop Finds: Hebden Bridge
I had a little charity shop luck recently whilst walking home last week. A couple of brand new (newly knitted) blankets which I couldn’t resist, a floral tin, a pale denim shirt from River Island, a simple black knit jumper from M&S and four great reads. Well, that was a pretty special weekend, wasn’t it? We’ve had the Olympics on 24/7 and have been left reeling from Saturday night, let alone from the opening ceremony the previous week. I’m really hoping it inspires people, not just the young generation, to aspire to do something you love and to concentrate on being the best in whatever you do because Great Britain has so much to offer and to be proud of. Thrifted! 1940s greetings cards
I haven’t been thrifting for a while – trying to keep a tight hold of the purse strings n’all. But I did happen upon these delightful 1940s greetings cards at my local flea market.
