Web Wanderings #3

Outfit details at the bottom of the post.

The natural and digital world are both a big part of my thirty-something life. So in praise of the internet, here’s some more of my web wanderings (a new series on the blog), including tips, resources and light-bulb moments, that I’ve discovered online lately. Read previous posts here.

Great sites | The wonderful The Rebel Woman’s Club gave me a shoutout last week promoting discussion on being childfree. I have lots to say (and not) to say on this subject. But in the meantime do check out this brilliant inclusive and empowering platform here:

For way too long women have been expected to fit ‘into’ society. To look, act, live, speak and behave a certain way. Well we’re calling b*llshit on that. Petition |Please sign this petition to make it a legal requirement to have a second safety critical person on trains. The Northern Rail strikes (every Saturday until the end of the year) where I live have been disrupting that’s for sure. But I do not agree with driver only operated trains. On social | I’m going to be taking part in Susannah Conway’s December Reflections on Instagram when I can. I like the idea of reflecting on the year that’s been, and also looking back at some of the photographs I’ve taken this year too. Here’s how you can take part…

Apps to download Retouch. I’ve had this app for a long time now and use it frequently for editing phone photographs. It’s so easy to use and takes seconds to retouch a photograph without having to sign into your laptop or desktop computer. I like apps that make things easier when I’m on the go.
