Home and Style Finds #21

home and style finds

I’m not sure what was going on last Wednesday between the hours of 10pm-12am when I saved all of these Home and Style finds onto my phone. I must have been anxious about something, as I only window shop when I’ve got something on my mind or if I’m actually wanting to shop. So I’m guessing I was worried about something as I didn’t buy a jot. Anyhoo, all is well. The world didn’t end and I now have some very cool finds to share with you lovely lot instead. Huzzah.

From left to right:

The Copper Magazine Rack from Urban Outfitters is a great way to store and display your magazines, and save on floor space too. It’s currently on sale too at £56.

Sorry to burst the summer bubble folks but we’re all going to need layers soon. Multiple layers. I had a taste of winter at End of the Road Festival (it rained hard on Saturday – wah!) and I thought to myself I’ll need more than a raincoat to keep the chills at bay when I’m walking Polly over the coming months. This Long Hooded Cardigan from Petit Bateau is a great choice to keep under your winter coat, and with its stylish sailor stripe it makes it a timeless addition to your winter wardrobe. Petit Bateau, I applaud you.

I’m so pleased my buddy, Haykin, now stocks Loela jewellery. If you’re looking to add a pop of colour to your outfit then take a look at this bold and contemporary jewellery range. I have the dash and fuchsia bracelet and it arrived in its own pouch, so it would make a great gift too.

I’ve been coveting these Dr. Martens for a long time. I’m thinking they might be top of my Christmas list this year, unless I see any New Balance or Adidas trainers I’d like in the meantime. I saw a few folk wearing them at the festival and I really liked how they look with tailored ankle length trousers. I think they’ll be a practical choice in winter too which pleases my adult brain. Ahem.

Looking for some tunes for the new season? I’ll write a catch up post about the End of the Road Festival soon but at the top of the new-to-me music list is Oscar. They had a mid afternoon slot on the Woods Stage and made me grin from ear to ear. Go listen to Cut and Paste now!

I’ve got a couple of birthdays coming up before the big C, and I’d like to gift plants or something foodie. This White Concrete Planter from The Future Kept would be a lovely choice for a crafty friend of mine.

I really like the tropical interiors trend but for my home I prefer the more neutral colours of the Jangala Shade from Made.com. Foliage for the win, and only £29 too.

If you’re looking to top up your jumper collection but are still pining for days filled with sunshine then try this pastel blue Boxy Jumper from New Look for only £7.99. This, paired with a pair of navy or black culottes and trainers would look pretty peachy, my friends.

Tote bags will always be ‘my thing’ (can you remember my Tote of the Week feature?!). If totes are your thing too then add a little sunshine to your weekend outfit with this large yellow linen shopper from La Redoute.
