What’s In My Travel Bag

Apologies for my absence over the past week. It’s been one of those manic week’s, trying to get everything sorted before we go to Australia, finishing two weeks worth of work, giving the office a makeover (more on that soon) and welcoming house guests who are staying at ours while we’re away.

It feels completely surreal knowing I’ve got two weeks off. As fellow freelancers know, ‘time off’ is pretty unheard of; working random hours between my permanent part time job is all I know so it feels a tad strange to be able to relax for a whole two weeks. I shall eat all the ice cream. Indeed I shall.

Anyhoo, in true blogging fashion here’s  my top 15 travel bag essentials that will be coming with me across the globe in my trusty Matt and Nat bag!

1| IPod – stocked with music being played at the End of the Road festival that I’m off to this year.

2| Purse with mobile charger and phone.

3| Passport and Passport Holder c/o Tanner & Oak

4| Makeup including lipbalm, moisturiser, concealer and blush.

5| ALL the Wipes.

6| Tic Tacs (obvs) and chewing gum.

7| Sight and Sound, Simple Things and Oh Comely magazines.

8| Book – taking Bronte Country by Yuki Chan and a couple of Kate Atkinson reads.

9| Camera + SD card.

10| Travel Memory Pillow c/o Go Travel. The OH will be trying out Go Travel’s other new travel pillow, the Double Decker.

11| Power Bank c/o Go Travel. I shall have WiFi!

12| Sunglasses. One prescribed and a pair of Ray Ban’s.

13| Notebook and pen.

14| Scarf/throw.

15| Eye mask.
