Wardrobe Details: Yorkshire Sculpture Park
Hello all! The pooch is asleep so I’m taking some time to catch up on the blog with a cup of chamomile tea and a slice of Parkin, like you do. I’ll update you all with Polly’s adventures soon but first here’s a taste of what else I’ve been up to, in what feels like the final weeks of summer.
When it comes to summer days out in Yorkshire, a visit to Yorkshire Sculpture Park, the UK’s leading open-air gallery, always comes top of the list. So last week, we ventured to the park to take advantage of the sunshine for a picnic and see Rob Ryan’s Listen to The World Exhibition.
Tunic c/o White Stuff | High Waisted Jeans from New Look | White loafers from Lotus | Bag from New Look
Our first mission was to set up our picnic and take in the views of the park but as we arrived at YSP the heavens opened and I looked to my feet (white loafers) and regretted my outfit choice. Plus I forgot my brolly and coat too. I blame Polly. She’s turned my brain to puppy mush. Ha! After a quick shower the blue skies popped out and my white shoes and lunch were saved. Hurrah!
For casual summer days out like this I styled my tunic dress from White Stuff with my favourite high-waisted jeans and white flat loafers for a monochrome/classic look. For Autumn/Winter walks, the tunic would work well with coloured tights or leggings, paired with ankle boots. Oh and it has pockets too, perfect for storing doggy treats in. Sorry folks, I’m puppy obsessed.
Are you planning any final summer days out?

I love your blog, the tunic looks gorgeous. I featured a casual summer day out with White Stuff too and nearly picked this one. I went for the ‘Wallflower’ instead which is lovely. Here is a link: http://www.ledbylucy.com/style-and-beauty/five-ideas-for-sunnny-days-out/
