Home and Style Finds: Father’s Day
Father’s Day is a coming (June 21st) and this year all I’m wishing for is a nice get-together with my family. It’s still quite difficult making plans with my mum and dad (they’re both ill/recovering) but I’m optimistic for some good days ahead. Let’s have a look at a few gift ideas for the dad in your life.
| One of my favourite gifts I’ve ever received is a coffee machine and grinder. Which reminds me, we need more beans! My folks are big coffee drinkers so I think they’d love this Coffee Machine (£119.99) from Tassimo; great for making coffee, tea and chocolate in a hurry, and perfect for entertaining guests.
| Sorry Dad, but I’m quite fond of the Feskarn Tray (£39.50) from Pedlars myself. Isn’t it grand? I’d pop this on my wall or on my sideboard and dream of the coast and my dad singing ‘When The Boat Comes In’.
| Designed originally as an educational tool the Apple Tree Wall Chart (£59) from Wallography would make a great gift for gardeners or educators, or anyone partial to all things pretty.
| Is your dad a keen cook? The Butcher Apron (£12) from Howkapow is designed by British designers Coconutgrass, and is currently in the sale reduced from £22.
| So it seems whilst searching for Father’s Day gifts I end up coveting them too, like the practical and stylish Copper Wire Recipe Stand (£22) from Oliver Bonas.
| Ernest Magazine (£10): A beautiful magazine for the curious and adventurous.
| Made right here in sunny Yorkshire, the Ministry of Silly Walks T-Shirt (£25) by Occasional Human is a great choice for the Monty Python fan in your life.
| A Father’s Day Card with a removable beermat? Sold! Team with craft beers for extra brownie points.
