At Home: Oh Christmas Tree!
This weekend really began to feel a lot like Christmas. I went to a Christmas crafting workshop in Hebden Bridge making my very own Christmas wrapping paper (plus a few extra cards and tags), then returned home to cherry liqueurs and Harry Potter on the telly. I’ve nearly finished all the Christmas shopping which means I just need to write Christmas cards and wrap presents to sit under our Needlelast Nordman Fir Christmas Tree.
Now I just need to get busy with my freelance work so I can have a nice 10 day Christmas holiday…oh my!
It’s a tradition of ours to pick up a new decoration for the tree each year. This year, we chose a glittery bird from Fortnum and Mason to sit on top of our tree (in true Portlandia style). I think she looks quite dandy!
As for the tree, we decorated it a week ago and have only seen needles drop when removing it from its packaging. She sits perfectly underneath my It’s A Wonderful Life print and smells a-mazing, now I just need to resist eating the chocolate coins nestled in her branches!
Are you feeling Christmassy yet?
