At Home: Pinterest Inspiration
I don’t know many people who like moving house, but let’s just say I’m at the top of the pile of folk who hate it. I turn into an anxious miserable mardy bum that forgets to eat and drinks too much wine.
But this time it’s different (see previous post on our news!). I cannot wait to get to the stage where I have to think of packing storage boxes as it will mean we are actually moving into an awesome house that is all ours. That feels a long way off from where we are at the moment (chasing banks and surveyors etc) so I daren’t even dream we will be moving soon.
I’ve even stopped looking at pictures of the house in question because I’m a nervous ninny, and don’t want to temp fate. That doesn’t mean I can’t have a good nosy at other folks homes via Pinterest at 1am in the morning though. Muhaha.
I created a Home Inspiration board on Pinterest a while ago and these are some of my favourite pins; hello monochrome!

Pendant lights, maps, plants, and wooden furniture. Plus, that picture of a mountain? LOVE.

The polka dot throw, yellow rug and the awesome pink cable light. Le sigh.
Elisabeth Heier // Apricots and apples
Beautiful tiles, the dream shower head (yup I think about these things) and luxury products (adds to Christmas wish list).
This room is so special; the tote bag on the wall, the monochrome rug, the vintage furniture, painting and lamp. Oh my!

The black tiles, the white floor, the mismatched chairs!
Aren’t they all lovely rooms? Take a look at my Pinterest boards for more home, craft and style inspiration and give me a shout if I’m not following yours!

I love searching through pinterest to have a nosy at lots of interiors. I will hopefully be buying a house this year and can’t wait to get lots of inspiration for what the rooms will look like! xx

All these rooms are so bright and cheery! I love my current home, but even still cost is a huge barrier when decorating. One day I’d like my house to look as fabulous as one of these.

How exciting! I used to quite like moving; it’s a good chance for a ruthless declutter (which I find very therapeutic). However, we haven’t had to move since buying our little house four years ago- bliss. I hope everything goes smoothly with yours! xxx
