Lately: Home and #MyYorkshirePhoto
In case you didn’t know, I live in a rather large county in merry England. It’s called Yorkshire and I’m rather fond of it. So when I was invited to take part in the Inntravel #MyYorkshirePhoto campaign celebrating the beauty of our surroundings, I immediately said yes. I, along with a selection of super bloggers were asked to capture why Yorkshire is special to us, with our very own Polaroid camera. Squeal!
I could waffle on for an age on how much I love this county that I live in; it’s amazing coastline, countryside and vibrant cities. Instead I thought I’d stay closer to home and share more love for my home, Hebden Bridge.
Hebden Bridge is the one place I can call home after living in a variety of places throughout my life. The stunning scenery, the mills, canals, rivers, parks, shops and atmosphere; it really does have it all (minus the sea of course).
I love that we live in a town where people dish out free hugs whilst you’re watching the local brass band (see photo above). It’s hidden deep in the valley and surrounded by moorland, and home to a creative hub of people who continually inspire me to live a freelance/creative life.
Visit the #MyYorkshirePhoto hashtag on Twitter to find more Yorkshire inspiration; we have so much to be proud of!

Beautiful photographs of a beautiful town! Are you excited for the Tour de France passing through?

Oooh I saw that town on a programme about the North and South and how there should be a Northern hub with commuter villages… It looks beautiful and it I do have a fondness for Yorkshire myself, I like the similarities with south Wales and the mining background etc

I’ve been to Hebden Bridge and thought it was such a gorgeous town! It had some pretty cafes as well. You must love living there.
