Made! DIY Father’s Day Greeting Card
As much as I love that Dad of mine, I know he isn’t really going to appreciate a handmade card as much as my Mum would. So this year, I’m keeping it pretty simple.
I dug out my typewriter and some plain sheets of paper and began typing a Father’s Day message. Here’s how to make the rest of the card (super simple, as always).
To make a DIY Father’s Day Greeting Card you will need:
Washi tape
Card stock
Scissors
Typewriter or stamps
Plain paper
Glue
Instructions:
- Type your message on a piece of paper using a typewriter, computer or stamps. A handwritten message would look lovely too. Cut to shape and set to one side.
- Cut your desired length of washi tape depending on the size of your message and stick onto your card stock. Try banner shapes or a simple square(ish) shape like above.
- Finally, add glue to the back of your message and stick to the washi tape.

I adore these! So simple, but stylish and perfect! I love making handmade cards and I will most definitely be making some of these. I’ve been making lots of bits and bobs with washi tape recently, so I have lots of end of rolls kicking around. This is the perfect use for them! Love!
