Outfit Post: Valentine’s Weekend

uk lifestyle blog

In truth, Valentine’s Day this year was spent indoors sheltering from the torrent of wind and rain outside with a homemade lasagna, box of chocolates and a bottle of fizz. Pretty much the type of Valentine’s we always have!

So when George at Asda, sent me a few pieces to celebrate Valentine’s Day, I choose to don my outfit on Sunday, a couple of days after, for afternoon lunch in Hebden Bridge. Spot the dry pavements!

Jersey Skater Dress c/o George // Pointed Toe Ballet Shoes c/o George // Cardigan, charity shop // Coat, charity shop // Snood c/o George

I chose the red jersey dress as it’s a pretty versatile piece of clothing you can dress up or down with a pair of flats or heels. I love the length, the colour and the lightweight fabric which will be ideal in a few months time when there WILL be lots of sunshine.

The faux fur snood was chosen from George styling department to complete my outfit. To be honest, it isn’t something I would normally buy but I did feel like an honorary cast member of Game of Thrones in it. So now I like it a lot.

Did you celebrate Valentine’s with a new frock?
