Lately: Preparations, Lists and a Pug Cushion
This week’s emptying of the phone camera revealed lots of festiveness, family fun and preparation for Christmas. I have a list for EVERY DAY for the next 10 days to remind me what I need to do for work and at home. I don’t like having my life completely planned out like this but needs must if I’m going to get through the coming weeks with a smile on my face. Mardy bum Lisa aint pretty!
A few things that have already put a smile on my face this week is this pug cushion from Made.com What a treat for our arm chair! It’s made me feel slightly better about not having our own pooch (for a while at least) and is the plumpest cushion to cuddle up to whilst watching Bleak House (my fave Winter BBC period drama).
Apart from work, I’ve been enjoying the still and quiet misty mornings, seeing my parents before they go on holiday for Christmas, listening to records, watching Alpha Papa and counting the days till the next Hobbit film (out tomorrow!). Finding the last Christmas gifts, making Christmas cards and planning our Christmas day for just the two of us.

I have so many to do lists. I like to do lists. I need to do more of them though. Maybe if I get another pretty to-do list pad. LOVE that cushion too.

My life ran on daily to-do lists in the run up to Christmas. The nicest thing about the lull between Christmas and New Year is not having anything to do! My life is no longer ruled by lists scribbled on the back of an envelope 🙂
