Swallow Print Dress c/o Warehouse // Milkman Bag, c/o Brit-Stitch // Denim Jacket, ASOS (2010)

I  am a complete sucker for a printed dress, let alone one with hundreds of birds on it. So when Warehouse asked if I’d like to review a dress from their collection, I of course saw and fell in love with this Swallow Print one. Swoonville.

I have to say I was rather wary of it arriving in the post. My style is usually a fit and flare or tunic style and I wasn’t sure whether I could get away with a tighter fit – it’s been a while ladies and gents. I’m happy to say it fits perfectly (I’m a size 14). It has a ruche detail at the front that carefully covers up the belly (perfect if you are a little insecure of it like moi) and the length is lovely too; I do like a nicely cut knee length dress or skirt.

The sleeves are three-quarter cut but for this evening I chose to team it up with my trusty denim jacket, black tights, Brit-Stitch bag and simple black ballet pumps.

I think I might try a pencil skirt next…ooh the possibilities!
