Lately: Special Deliveries
There has been all kinds of happiness going on lately, which is always grand. I am an Auntie once more to a certain little girl; her name is Ruby and she is perfect. Isn’t Ruby a lovely name? She’s been getting to grips with the world; namely sleeping, feeding and throwing shapes with her tiny hands. Did I mention she is perfect? I’ve also been ooh-ing and ah-ing over these stunning Kindred Vases sent to me by Dartington Crystal. I’ve never owned crystal before and I feel a little fancy pants owning these. Designed by Hilary Green, the retro style vases complement our bedroom perfectly – they are so beautiful I don’t think they need flowers in them! Hmm, what else have I been up to? I spent a glorious sunny afternoon exploring the hotel and grounds of Wentbridge House with lovely bloggers (more on that soon). We had a smashing time and it’s encouraged me to go to more blogging events (it was a relief to be in company of people who take as many pictures as I do!). As for other treats, the OH bought me a couple of records for my collection (the best type of present) and I treated myself to this gorgeous Rose Gold Star Necklace from Little Nell. Cosmic loveliness makes me happy – we’re all made of stars y’know!

I recently treated myself to something from Little Nell too – a star bracelet – and it’s gorgeous, have hardly had it off my wrist since it arrived.
