Lately: Vintage Finds

Hunting for vintage treasures in my local antique and charity shops, coupled with a bag of Sherbet Lemons, is a good day spent in my book. I haven’t wandered leisurely through the streets of Hebden Bridge for a while but my shopping bonnet is back on and we’re having a guilt free month of buying whatever we fancy, within limits of course. In my case that means bidding on vintage beauties on auction sites like eBay and Barnebys or shopping locally for thrifty goods. Joy-o-rama.

What did I find on my treasure hunt you ask? For a fiver, A 1966 edition of The Fellowship of the Ring (it smells delicious), a Stevie Wonder record (he can do no wrong) and a vintage tapestry purse and brooch that were meant to be together. What can I say? I’m a match-maker for unwanted goods.
