5 Positive Things To Do This Week #13
- Repeat the phrase ‘It’s not the end of the world’ over and over when having a rough day. Chances are, it could be worse. “Sod it” works just as well.
- Spend no more than half an hour making a decoration for the Christmas tree. It’s good to concentrate on one thing after a long day. Tip: reward yourself afterwards with a hot chocolate.
- Plan something fun for January. The early part of the year is always the toughest; people are skint, the weather is harsh and most are on a comedown after December’s festivities. Start thinking of something to look forward to now. See a post related to this later in the week!
- Give your computer/TV/radio/camera/mobile a hug and be thankful for them. We’re a very fortunate part of the world’s population that has all these goodies at our fingertips. Go on, give them a hug.
- Spend quality time with a pet. I read somewhere once that playing with a pet helps with stress and anxiety. I gotta say, coming home to a dog is the best feeling in the world. We’re dog sitting over the New Year, hello muddy paws and happy walks.

I like your decorations – and the beginning idea reminds me of F*** It which is a book and some more stuff too. Perspective can be hard to find!
