Tote of the week: Burnt Orange Shopper by Topshop

This tote does remind me of something my Nanna used to carry. Her rain hat would have fit nicely in that front pocket, along with her eye drops and liquorice allsorts. But I like it. It’s from Topshop and priced £32.  I’m drawn to the burnt orange colour and the leather details. Or perhaps it’s my old lady ways showing through? Eep.

Worn with something simple, I think this would make a perfect thrifty shopping bag for the Autumnal months.

Speaking of which, I’m already drinking mulled wine (not this morning! Although…), wearing knitted tights, heating is on and I’m itching to start watching Christmas films. In. My. Element.

As for this weekend, I’ll be working, but I’ve plenty of nice things to do in the evenings to keep me happy. Cooking immense stews, good films and drinks with friends. Pretty good, non?
