Lady grey
I’m all over *snaps fingers* grey at the moment, what with the grey skies n’all. I’ve been prancing around in my grey brogues, donning grey nail varnish with a spring in my step.
I actually don’t mind grey days (well, just the few mind) it gives you the chance to listen to melancholic music and watch French films in cosy socks, supping tea.
So, here’s some grey inspired loveliness…
1. I am a mugaholic and never tire of browsing for mugs. Afterall, they do hold the best thing in the world (tea, wonderous tea) so they deserve to be special. I’m coveting this Piecrust mug from Anthropologie, £8. In fact the more I look at it the more I want to wrap my hands around it. Beautiful.
2. My trusty grey brogues which I’m gonna pair with black, maroon and cream chunky knit tights. I bought them for £8 last year from Primark. Happy feet.
3. Thames grey nail varnish by Nails inc. The shortest nails in the world, ah well!
4.Grey/white striped paper straws from Papermash. Aren’t they lovely?
5. I think the grey bridesmaids outfits are so chic and classy. Lovely. Via Style Me Pretty.
6. Wowsers. To have stairs like these? Via Design Amour.
7. The chair, the cushions, the blanket. Add a good book and a mug of tea and it’s practically perfect. Via Solid Frog.
8. I really like the grey skirt, and the cardigan teamed with a chiffon top and a clutch. Via Elle.
Hmm, now back to that mug…

I so love grey esp as I’ve gotten to an uncertain ages when black just seems too harsh now….my favourite paint colour as well…rxx

That mug is spectacular. I am dressed head to foot in grey at the moment, with one bright addition of a mustard scarf.

Lots of lovelies there. That staircase is amazing. I’m appreciating grey at the moment too and it has been creeping into my crocheting lately. Sadly being blonde and pale if I try and wear grey I look even more washed out than I already do so it’s all about the accessorising for me.

That mug is fantabulous! I want want want! I never really wear much grey, I’ve got a thing for yellow at the mo, may have to contemplate trying out some grey items come pay day now 🙂 Love the post too 🙂
