Nice things.
I’ve been in a mood recently. One of those moods where you can’t quite place it or figure it out. I’ve annoyed myself and probably everyone I’ve come into contact with; moaning and whining like a baby…wah!!
To help it pass, I thought I’d take a few pictures of things that lift me, encouraging me to see all the nice things…
I bought this vintage tea towel a while ago and have been waiting to pop it in a frame. Yesterday, I lost my patience and used some sticky pads instead. Ta-da!
Scrambled eggs warm the cockles of my heart. Mmm eggy pegs.
Pictures of my nephew. I think he looks like Yoda baby!
Thrifty finds! Ah, I love a good flask and am going to concoct some tasty soups to take with me on walks. That should lift my soul!
Surprise packages from the lovely Rosalilium. Elizabeth sent me (and others!) some beautiful bits and pieces including one of her photographs. Wrapped in fabric and doilies, it really did put a smile on my face!

Lovely. I have to do this to myself quite regularly. I think the feeling is maybe the oncoming season change. I’m already mentally getting ready for a/w as last year was harsh, and remembering lovely things helps.
Your nephes is spectacular levels of cute! (I too love the flask!)

Oh thank you, I’m sure he agrees! Yeah the mood thing has been really annoying but I think it’s passing. Funny, as the sun is now shining?! x

Thank you! He is adorable! The tea towel will probably never be framed now it’s up on the wall anyway. I love tea towels! : )
