The Lakes
No sooner had the holidays begun, they had ended. Time indeed does fly when you’re eating party rings for breakfast and drinking lager and lime in the sun.
We went to the Lakes and had a grand old-time. We went camping on the shores of Ullswater staying at a fab campsite called Side Farm.
The rest of the ‘holidays’ (I work in retail!) were made up of working, writing, cooking, watching films, sorting clothes, listening to the radio and eating too many party rings – I’m kind of hooked.

Sounds like a brill holiday! Well done for keeping away from the ‘event’.. We did our bit by going to a republican street party and a big busk with Billy Bragg the next day 😀

Ah fab! We caught ‘the dress’ in a harbour ticket office. Lots of walkers huddled round the telly!
