Storytime o’clock…

I mentioned the other day a children’s book, published in 1970, that I bought. I bought it as the illustrations were gorgeous however didn’t realise how good the stories were too! It is called More Farmyard Tales by K. and B. Jackson, illustrated by Gustaf Tenggren, and is a collection of  ‘stories about animals and girls and boys’.

Everyone of these made me smile.

What a lovely story. Made me feel all warm and glowy inside when I read that. That’s always nice.
