Wish List

I don’t buy many things (well, not any more). I am now more of a ‘make do’ person and quickly found out I loved making things instead, especially for the home. I haven’t got round to making clothes yet, just a few accessories, but I’ve got a dress pattern upstairs that I might just try out…one rainy day.

There has been a few things I’ve seen online that have tempted me, so I am going to have a good rummage around in markets and charity shops to see if I can find cheaper alternatives.

Meet the temptations…

Ping!

Now I’ve had a look and they are relatively cheap, I’ve already seen one for £10. So don’t need to find a cheaper alternative. Is it a necessity though? Well apart from them looking gorgeous, it (and this is the best bit) – is NEEDED, for my crafting. Yes. I NEED it to make things, which I then intend to sell – an investment for sure?! I should title this post ‘Dear Boo…’ shouldn’t I? : )

This wooden star is from Cox & Cox priced £50 and I like it very much. The stars were originally hung in Shaker houses to symbolise good luck, we could all do with a bit of that right? I’m always looking for ideas for things to hang on our empty walls, and I keep coming back to this. Every time I look on the website though they are out of stock. Darn it!

These are globe lamps by Erica Milde of Anecdote Design found whilst browsing on Etsy priced $38, roughly £25. I used to have a light globe when I was a kid and I loved it, dreaming of places I would visit when I was older and rich. Well, now I’m older and I’m dreaming of globe lamps…hmmm.

Finally, these are Silver Leaf Earrings by Highland Angel priced £14.95. I think they are beautiful and dainty. My lobes would be happy wearing these. I won’t be rummaging round charity shops for these, so I am tempted to buy them. Ho hum. Maybe.

That’s it for now, Lisa’s wish list over and out.
