August Wish List: Seasalt, New Look and Datter Industries

With August only a few days away, and payday beckoning for most people, it felt only right to compile a three simple things wish list for next month. Of course, it will be a perfectly wonderful month without these wish list treasures, but it is nice to look and share.

These three beautiful pieces reflect my mood, style and transition from hot Summer days into, well, whatever Summer has in store for us next. This outfit is ideal for casual days, with Chelsea boots, a nautical inspired dress and a ring so darn charming it’s been bookmarked twice. It conjures up trips to town, drinks with friends and if you’re feeling dreamy, walks through meadows with a loved one.

If I could get away with it, the Phoebe Dress from Seasalt is the type of dress I would wear all the time. With its playful stripes and perfect pleats that would cover up all my lumps and bumps from the waist down, it makes a good investment as an everyday staple dress. Kudos Seasalt, it is lovely!

I love simple bands with delicate details so these Posie Rings from Datter Industries are just my type of jewellery. The designer-maker Kaye Blegvad, likes her work to show signs of being handmade, and draws inspiration from ancient artefacts and the natural world. Her jewellery would make beautiful wedding bands also – take a look at Datter Industries for inspiration (watch your bank balance!).

My black Chelsea boots look peachy with a feminine tea dress and have lasted well considering their frequent use. So, when my black boots give up the day job, these Limited Buckle Strap Boots from New Look, will be the perfect alternative for my daily jaunts in Hebden Bridge and beyond.
